Who ever thinks Twitter is useless, think again.  Twestival is a website that takes social media & networking to the next level, allowing you to connect with your local community and help organize events for a good cause.  In less than a week, Local Asheville Twestival will be throwing an event to benefit ASAP (Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project),  a nonprofit organization that works to keep farmers farming and reconnect people with their food. Props to all the organizers and creator of such a great website!  Wish we were going to be in town for this.

Here’s a short video we cut together from the Warren Wilson College 2009 Mountain Green Sustainability Conference. We decided to open up a dialog with vendors, speakers and attendees asking a simple question, “What does green mean to you?”.
